Riders Falls

Height: 15 feet
Trail Type: Dirt
Hike Distance: A few feet
Difficulty: 1
Beauty: 5

Overview:

Riders Falls isn’t impressive by any means and isn’t anything worth making a special trip for. But it’s also a good reminder that even a “small” waterfall is still a pretty sight. As with other waterfalls in the area, this is an anomaly. The immediate area is surrounded by rolling hills and manicured crops. Then, all of a sudden, this rocky slope with a waterfall appears.

Directions:

Riders Falls is located on private property, but you can still see it from the road. The falls is located near The Rock House, built in 1785 by Colonel Jack Martin, on Thore Road, just off of Flat Rock Road.
