Reedy Branch Falls

Height: 35 feet
Trail Type: Dirt
Hike Distance: 0.4 miles round trip
Difficulty: 3
Beauty: 5

Overview:

Reedy Branch Falls is tucked away in a fairly unassuming part of the western part of South Carolina. The falls aren’t anything special, but the hike is easy.

Directions:

From the intersection of US 76 and US 123 in Westminster, head west on US 76 for 15.7 miles. You’ll cross a bridge over Reedy Branch and notice a pullout with an old stone wall on the left. Park here.

Hike Description:

The trail begins at the gate and gently descends the hill before bottoming out at the confluence of Reedy Branch and an unnamed tributary. There’s a small 5-foot falls here, but there’s also a lot of old construction trash, which ruins the setting. The trail continues for a short distance to the base of the falls.
