Overview:
Ramsey Creek Falls is located in Chau-Ram Park to the northwest of Westminster. There’s a $2 fee to use the park and they are strict about it. On my visit, I didn’t realize there was a fee and I only had one dollar in my wallet. I was able to sweet talk the attendant into getting 5 minutes at the falls.
And really, unless you’re planning to spend the day at the park, the $2 isn’t worth it just to see the falls. Although it’s listed at 40 feet, it doesn’t look like it. The falls drop over three or four huge sections before emptying into a pool below. The creek then joins the Chauga River a short distance downstream.
Directions:
From the intersection of US 76 and US 123 in Westminster, head west on US 76 for 2.4 miles and turn right onto Chau Ram Park Road. The road enters the park and you can park in one of the lots at the end of the road.
