Height: 70 feet
Trail Type: Dirt
Hike Distance: 2.2 miles round trip
Difficulty: 9
Beauty: 6
Overview:
Angel Falls is the second waterfall on the Angel Falls Trail. Although I think Panther Falls is prettier, Angel Falls is still worth the visit if you’re in the area. It’s another half-mile from Panther Falls, and it looks like a taller, more narrow version of it, too.
Directions:
Same as for Panther Falls.
Hike Description:
From Panther Falls, the trail steeply ascends the hill up a few switchbacks before leveling out. The trail gets narrow as you get closer to the base, but it’s easy to follow. The trail ends at a wooden viewing platform right at the base. In the summer months, the upper section of the falls could be partially hidden by all of the trees and brush.
