Toxaway Falls

Height: 240 feet
Trail Type: Asphalt
Hike Distance: None
Difficulty: 0
Beauty: 1

Overview:

Unless you get a room at one of the resort cabins or you’re the super rugged type who enjoys bushwacking and making your own trails (or coming in through another part of Gorges State Park and walking upstream), you’re only going to see the top of Toxaway Falls. It begins at the dam for Lake Toxaway and slides nearly 250 feet out of site. It’s really only one to check off your list.

Directions:

From the intersection of US 64 and US 276 in Brevard, head west on US 64 for 19.2 miles to the bridge over the Toxaway Dam and River. There’s a pullout on the side for you to park and walk over to the edge to look over.
