Overview:
Sunburst Falls is the result of the headwaters of the Pigeon River tumbling down the mountains. NC 215 crosses over the creek here and provides some good photography if you like including stone architecture in your photos.
Directions:
From the intersection of the Blue Ridge Parkway and NC 215, head north on NC 215 for 4.2 miles. You’ll cross Sunburst Falls on your left, and there’s a decent pullout on the left on the other side of the bridge to park.
