Sliding Rock Falls

Height: 20 feet
Trail Type: Asphalt
Hike Distance: 0.2 miles round trip
Difficulty: 1
Beauty: 1

Overview:

Sliding Rock isn’t so much a waterfall destination as it is a recreational spot. There’s a fee to visit and use the area, and on a warm day, the place will be packed with people sliding down the smooth rock into the 8-foot-deep pool. If your goal is to photograph waterfalls, this is one you can skip thanks to the handrail that scales the side of the falls. If your goal is to find somewhere to swim and have fun, this is one you can check out.

Directions:

From the intersection of US 64 and US 276 in Brevard, head north on US 276 for 7.8 miles to the parking area on the left.
